Katherine was the youngest daughter of John Loofbourrow. Hertombstone in the Presbyterial churchyard (Lamington, NJ) reads as follows: "Here lyes the body of Catherine the wife of William Ker who after she had been exemplary as a Christian faithful wife, mother and friend departed this life Oct. 6, 1775 in the 65th year of her age."
