George Harmer Jr., evidentlly the younger of the two brothers who

jointly by the brothers, George owned just 50 acres, which he released
to his brother William on 27 August 1686, and moved to the City of
Philadelphia, where he spent the rest of his life, plying the trade of
horner and acting as caretaker of the Frinds Burial Ground on Mulberry
(now Arch) Street near the corner of Third Street. After 23 April
1688 he lived on a city lot 30' X 198' on the west side of Third
Street between High (now Market) and Mulberry Streets and after 14
June 1690 he moved to a city lot 20.5' X 80' on the south side of High
Street, at Strawberry Alley,Philadelphia.
