Kenneth Jacob (Kejacobi@aol.com) in his roots wed informationwww.worldconnect.rootsweb.com) lists the following dates for Frederick Beard. birth: 9 Sep 1758 marriage: 2 Dec 1783 death: 8 Mar 1842 Frederick Beard was also known as Frederick Barth --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Newspaper Notice in Adams County,Pennsylvania Notice is Hereby Given, to the Heirs and LegalRepresentatives of FREDERICK BEARD, Late of liberty Township, Adams County, deceased, to wit : - MaryMagdalena Beard, and issue as follows, to wit: Jacob, Julia, Frederick, George, Samuel, Polly, intermarried with Robert Lum, Catherine intermarried with Henry Reese, Margaret intermarried with John McIntire, Magdalena intermarried with John Kerr, Elizabeth who was intermarried with Christopher Seitz, and who both died before the death of the said intestate, leaving issue Joshua Seitz, Erastus Seitz, Jeremiah Seitz, Betty Maria intermarried with Barney Devine, - Joshua Beard, who also died before intestate, leaving issue, Obed Monireville, Napoleon A., Athabiah B, and Matilda, all of whom are yet in their minority, and the three last have for their guardian, Isaac Weagly, - and David Beard, who also died before intestate, leaving issue, Adeline Louisa, Mary Jane and John, all of whom are yet in their minority, and have for their guardian Joseph Baugher, - that AN INQUEST will be held on FRIDAY, the 24th of March next, on a certain tract ofland, part in Hamiltonban and partly in Liberty townships, in the county of Adams aforesaid, containing about six hundred acres more of less, with the appurtenances, adjoining lands of John McIntire, Alexander Gordon, John Zullinger, and others, to make partitions thereof to and among the heirs and legal representatives of the said deceased, it the same will admit of such partition without prejudice to or sporing the whole thereof;but if the same will not admit of such partition, then to part and divide the same to and among as many of them as the same will conveniently accommodate; but if the same will not admit of division at all without prejudice to a sporing the whole, then to value and appraise the same whole and undivided; and further to enquire and ascertain whether the said real estate will conveniently accommodate more than one of the children of the said intestate, and if so how many of the said children it will conveniently accommodate. Widow applied 14 February 1846, Adams County Pennsylvania, agedabout 85, married 2 December 1783, soldier died 9 March 1842 aged 83 years 5 months 9 days and was buried at Emmitsburg Maryland.
