All of the information on the descendants of Jacob Baumgardner isfrom information generously shared with me by Bonnie Martin. She used the census records from 1790 through 1850 as well as land records, pension and will records and the Dozer book of 1929. Jacob fought in the was of 1812. He and Rebecca are buried in the Malta Cemetery in Ohio. Per sue Ellen Cave: St. Johns evangelical Lutheran of Germany township, Adams county, Pennsylvania church records. Jacob was born 2 Nov 1789 and baptized 25 Dec 1789. However his obit in said he was in his 66th year which would put his birth in 1787.
