Elizabeth died sometime between the 1870 census (York Township, Athens County, Ohio) and the 1880 census (Green Township, Hocking County, Ohio. There is no entry in the Hocking County death records for Elizabeth Matheny between these dates and there is one as stated in the Athens County death records. The addition of Hulda Ann as a 6th child is also a guess but since Elizabeth died at a young age and Hulda's birth were close it could have been a death because of childbirth.
