Will dated 10 Nov 1725 and probated 9 Jan 1732/33. All children named except George and Jacob. George Harmer Jr., evidentlly the younger of the two brothers who removed to America, was probably born about 1662. Of the 450 acre plantation in Upper Dublin Township, County of Philadelphia, held jointly by the brothers, George owned just 50 acres, which he released to his brother William on 27 August 1686, and moved to the City of Philadelphia, where he spent the rest of his life, plying the trade of horner and acting as caretaker of the Frinds Burial Ground on Mulberry (now Arch) Street near the corner of Third Street. After 23 April 1688 he lived on a city lot 30' X 198' on the west side of Third Street between High (now Market) and Mulberry Streets and after 14 June 1690 he moved to a city lot 20.5' X 80' on the south side of High Street, at Strawberry Alley,Philadelphia.
