Civil War Service - Martin Holloway was a private in the Confederate Army. The information I have compiled indicates he served with the 61st Kentucky Infantry. I haven't found any records for this unit but I have found veteran listings naming this as the unit in which he served. I do believe that Martin Holloway was in Kentucky during the war but there is a Martin Holloway listed on the rolls of the 61st North Carolina.

Residence from census records.
