Daughter, or widow?? See WFT 6/404. Event: Fa ct 5 1850 Census shows John, Matillda, Harden 10, Wm.8, Davis 6, Willis 4, Sarah 7/12 Event: Fa ct 6 2001 Family history written by John A. Holloway, b 22 may 1881, s/Henry, claims that "John of old", who m Ellen Rose was an illegitimate son of Ellen and a man named white, sired while the presumed father, not named, but apparently Stephen was at war, "Fightin Event: Fa ct 7 2001 Cont'd from fact 6: fighting under Gen Washington". This was written 1 jan 1947, and is published in a family history of which I have only a few pages, from Bobby Grifffith
