We were pained to hear of the sudden death of Mr. John Young ofNeelysville on Sunday evening last. His death was caused by a paralytic stroke.

John Young was born in Virginia, August 28, 1812, and died at hislate home in Morgan County, Ohio, May 31, 1886. Mr. Young was married to Miss. Elizabeth Gheen, March 19, 1835 and soon after left his native state and came to Ohio and settled in Morrgan County, where he resided until his death. As an old citizen of the county, he was highly esteemed by the community in which he lived for his purity of character and uprightness of life. He was a firm believer in Christianity and had been for 27 years a member of the M. E. Church. He leaves to morn there loss a deeply bereaved widow, five sons, three daughters and a large circle of relatives and friends. May they all find consolation in their great sorrow by a sure hope of a reunion in the better land.
