THE MORGAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT, JULY 29, 1937 MRS. SARAH SPENCER, 86, CLAM ED BY DEATH Mrs. Sarah Spencer, 86, widow of William Spencer, passed awaythis morning at 3:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. Mame rox of Malta. Death was due to paralysis, having suffered a stroke Monday morning. Her median name was Sarah Newman. Surviving are her four children Mrs Carrie Richardson of Zanesville, Wesley Spencer and Mrs. Mame Rox of Malta and Jesse A. Spencer of East Bloom. She also leaves 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. When quite young she joined the Christian church. Funeral agreements are incomplete.
