Aged and Highly respected Women passes away
Mrs. Ann Spencer, who had been in poor health for some weeks,passed away Saturday night about 11:00 o'clock. Mrs. Spencer was over 87 years of age and leaves five daughters, Mrs. Ellen Shippley of the home, Mrs. Lizzie Perkins of Bethedsa, Ohio, Mrs. Eva Moore of Brayent, Mrs. Fannie Brown of Columbus and Mrs. Jennie Wray of Walkerton, Indiana and one son John O. Spencer of near the home. Mrs. Spencer was a Nobel Christian woman and well loved by all who knew her.
The funeral was held at Ebenezer, Tuesday at 2;00 o'clockconducted by her pastor Rev. Ruppert Halliwell asses ted by Rev. R. A. Pellt.
In the history of Morgan County (1980) under the Spencer family it
gives Long Nate Spencer as 1835-1899 and his wife Ann Oliver as 1829-
1917. and lists their 6 children.
