Isabella Harmar, widow of Naylor Harmar, departed this life onthe 26th day of June, 1887 in the eighty - first year of her age, at the residence of her son, George W. Harmar, near Pennsville. Ohio.
Isabella Harmar, whose maiden name was Hunt, was born in TalbotCounty, Maryland, was united in marriage with Naylor Harmar on the 28th day of February, 1827, with whom she spent a long and happy life. She was a consistent member of the Friends Church; first at Concord, Belmont County, Ohio, then with the society of friends at Pennsville, Ohio. Mother Harmar was a kind neighbor and affectionate mother. She bore her long sickness with wonderful patience; her son, to all human appearance, set in great peace, "Mark the ;perfect man, behold the upright; for a the end of that man is peace" -37th psalm, 27th verse. She leaves two sons and three daughters, with a large circle of friends to mourn their loss.
