They were reported on 30 December 1793 at the Goose Creek Monthly Meeting, as guilty of unchastity with each other before marriage and of a marriage contrary to the discipline of the church and dismissed.
From Belmont-Jefferson Counties History, William Spencer settled inBelmont County, Kirkwood Township in 1806 or 1806. He bought from the government of the United States of America, one section of land being section 7, township 9, range 6, consisting of 640 acres on 28 March 1806.
